Four more countries ratify CRPD

On February 4^th, Ukraine became the 79^th country to ratify the Convention. Two weeks later France joined the list. Both countries also ratified the Optional Protocol. Latvia ratified on March 1^st and Canada on the 15^th. 

Because of the new ratifications the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities will increase from 12 to 18 members in 2011.
