Social integration and improvement the quality of life of persons with disabilities, by strengthening their capacity and social engagement

The project aim is to improve the quality of life, social integration and the realization of human rights of PWD, by strengthening their capacity, networking and social engagement. Positive impact can contribute to greater influence on policy, in accordance with art. 4 of the UN Convention on the Rights of PWD. Within the project will be organized five workshops on the importance of self-organization of PWDs and increasing activism in the local community. It will be also organized a series of roundtables focusing on accessibility issues, health and social care, education and employment with recommendations for improvement in these areas.
The project will last for six months and was funded by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Welfare – Department for PWDs protection.
