Nothing about us without us

The project aim is to increase the involvement of persons with disabilities in community life, stimulate their potential and encourage better social integration, developing personal capacity for constructive dialogue and communication with other people as well as expanding the network of social contacts, to increase the sensitivity of disability issues in the local community. The project will include a two-day training for 8-10 people with and without disabilities on skills of speaking and debating, forming three debate clubs in three cities with at least 10 OSI and 6 non-disabled people, organising 18 – 24 meeting of the club in form of creative socio-educational workshops, organising 3 “test debate” in clubs and 3 public debate on issues related to human rights of people with disabilities in three cities in Serbia (Belgrade, Kragujevac and Nis) where are CILs local organizations.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
