“This is a contribution to our disability movement efforts to create equal opportunities for persons with disabilities and I think that it is excellent that Serbia did this historical step and that I had a chance to be on G17 PLUS list as non-party MP candidate as an expert in disability issues”, said Mrs. Rajkov. She announced the continuation of the work on raising awareness on disability issues and that is a good thing that Serbia is joined to other states that supported equal opportunities for persons with disabilities.

“It is important to say that Serbian Parliament is going to show the respect of the laws and regulations which are adopted in this country. Last year the Law on Antidiscrimination of persons with disability is adopted and one of its tasks is to adapt living environment. I think that it is great that the highest institution in the country uses the right example to show law implementation in reality”, concluded future MP from G17 PLUS in Serbian Assembly Mrs. Gordana Rajkov.
