This project will contribute to poverty reduction and social exclusion of persons with severe physical disability (PWDs), through preparations for introducting Personal Assistants Service as innovative kind of support service for PWDs within the system of social care, which will enable their social inclusion and realisation of human rights and dignity. Organising personal assistant service for control group of 30 users (PWDs) in 5 Serbian cities, together with other project activities (production of Procedure Manual, Quality Standards, Simulating Scenario for implementation of regulatory medhanisms) will enable realisation of testing model of this service in cooperation with national and local authorities and contribute to development of systems of sustainable social services for PWDs, which will strengthen their capacities and enable them independent life in local community. Project will contribute in poverty reduction for 30 unemployed persons who will be working as personal assistants.
